I’d like to take a moment to officially plug the South Carolina Book Festival, which takes place on May 14-15 (Sat/Sun) at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in beautiful downtown Columbia, SC.
The (free!) fun & nerdiness starts bright and early on Saturday at 9 a.m. with book signings, readings, panels, music, dance, theatre, and more, going on until 5 p.m., and running 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday. (They’re still taking volunteers!)
Come see (very) local urban fantasy author Kalayna Price, mystery authors C. J. Box, Margaret Maron, and Cathy Pickens; Nicole Seitz, Lisa Patton, Celia Riverbark, bestselling author Mary Alice Monroe, and more. Get some books signed, schmooze with other bibliophiles, and enjoy this beautiful Carolina weekend.
