Fandom Fest; or, Woman Cannot Survive on Bourbon and Coffee Alone

First of all, this happened:

James R. Tuck, author of BLOOD AND BULLETS from Kensington, and Richard Kadrey, author of SANDMAN SLIM from Harper Collins, put me in a Big Tattooed Dude sandwich.

Shenanigans also included being a corset mannequin, meeting the charming Brent Taylor and the lovely Delilah S. Dawson (author of WICKED AS THEY COME, “steampunk vampire smut” from Simon & Schuster), winning mad swag from Bell Bridge Books, scoring a signed ARC of DEVIL SAID BANG (Sandman Slim #4), hearing John Scalzi‘s argument for why the Death Star would beat a Borg Cube (sorry, Michael), having to drive to Indiana to leave Kentucky, and getting a total of maybe 8 hours of sleep over the whole weekend.

My weekends > most other people’s.

Also? I’m fucking exhausted. And grinning like an idiot.
